Hello, I would like to tell you a bit about myself and my Yorkshire Terriers. I am a small show home that raises a litter or two of pups occasionally, so I do not have pups available every year. I have been breeding and showing Yorkies since the late '80's and am still learning what works and what doesn't work with producing a great show dog.
If you are looking for a "Teacup," "Parti Colored/Piebold", or a "Chocolate" Yorkie, your barking up the wrong tree. These are all terms used to make it sound like you are getting something special. The AKC and the YTCA do not recognize these types of Yorkies and they are actually disqualified if they were to enter the show ring. There are plenty of tiny Yorkies out there and if you have an interest in paying exorbitant vet bills, then by all means purchase one of those pups.
However if you are interested in a healthy, well bred, mentally sound adult or pup that closely resembles the AKC standard, then feel free to contact me. There are no stupid questions that you can ask a serious breeder. Those of us that are trying to improve the breed instead of retire from the profits of it, are more then willing to talk non stop about the breed we all love and cherish.
Yorkies didn't get to their number two status in the dog world by accident. They are there because they are truly a wonderful addition to a household.
